The world is ruled by a queen with the help of her nine guardians, but the thing is that their powers disappear with time and it is now time to choose a new queen. Two candidates are picked by the queen and her aide, one of the candidates is a 17 year-old girl by the name of Angelique Limoges.
To determine who will become queen the two candidates are each given a land to populate, whoever finishes populating their land first wins. To help them they each have nine guardians who can use their powers to help the people, but also use their powers to wage war...
