A new prank played by Zack results in Ms. Tutweiller giving him the job as a hall monitor, which Mr. Moseby doesn’t understand. But when it turns out that Zack becomes a model student by being given authority, he starts giving detention to all his friends, which gets on their nerves. Meanwhile, Cody and Bailey don’t have time for each other anymore and decide to have a romantic date after curfew, but when Zack spots them, they end up in a lot of trouble.
