When the SS Tipton crosses the International Dateline it keeps getting struck by lightning, this causes Cody to relive the same day over and over again. He believes this is due to the universe trying to get him and Bailey together, so each time he does things different to try and make that happen. Unfortunately things never really work out and Cody is forced to find a way to stop this occurrence from happening, even going against his will to be with Bailey.
