After breaking up with Craig, Kim moves back in with her mother, Kath.

2 :01x02 - Respect

Kath, wanting to get more business for her business, Good Hair Day, she lands a booth at the mall's "Prom-enade" event. Later, Kath has Kim model her new hairstyles, including the "flying wedge."

3 :01x03 - Old

Kath is excited to plan her wedding to Phil, but becomes insecure when Kim says that her mother is too old to be getting married. Later, Kim believes that Craig is having an affair, leading her to ask her second best friend Angel for help.

4 :01x04 - Money

Having found her dream dress Kath plans on having a lavish wedding, but her financial woes may limit her vision for the big day. Elsewhere, Kim thinks about going back with Craig after discovering that big money can be made in breeding his dog.

5 :01x05 - Dating

Once Kath keeps her first secret from Phil, she then worries about what secrets he maybe keeping from her. Elsewhere, Kim hopes to have Craig get rid of his dog and rush back to win her after she goes speed dating with a friend.

6 :01x06 - Jealousy

Kath is undecided whether she should intervene when she sees how Phil's best friend treats him. Elsewhere, Craig tries to prove to his friend that he is not whipped because of Kim's constant requests.

7 :01x07 - Gay

While out shopping for her wedding Kath encounters a gay couple. Kath is curious over a Kim's friendship with a former classmate. Phil has a struggle with his insecurity.

8 :01x08 - Sacrifice

Kath is getting insomnia due to the pressures from making her wedding plans. Phil's idea is that she pay a visit to Athena Scooberman, his life coach and spiritual advisor. Kath is quickly taken in by the woman and her teachings, but Phil soon realizes that this may have been a mistake. Meanwhile, Kim has a boot on her car and must find the money to pay her parking tickets if she wants it back. But instead of paying a fine, Kim asks Craig to help her out without paying a cent.

9 :01x09 - Friends

To find some new friends, Kath and Phil host a Christmas Party. Meanwhile, Kim and Craig's friendship is with Derrick is tested at the Circuit Surplus holiday party.

10 :01x10 - Florida

When one of Kath's clients passes away in her salon, Kath tries to find a right way to say good-bye.

11 :01x11 - News

Kim decides to take the position as a news anchor for a local television station. Craig gets in an accident with Phil's car which escalates once the police get involved.

12 :01x12 - Idols

Kath and Kim both try to impress the judges of a contest in which the winner receives a dinner with Wynonna Judd, but things don't exactly go as planned. Meanwhile, Craig and Derrick work on writing a country song.

13 :01x13 - Celebrity

Kath is inspired by a local celebrity to try out for a part in Cats. Kath seeks out Athena's spiritual advice to prepare herself for fame. Elsewhere, Kim gets a new job working at Phil's sandwich shop.

14 :01x14 - Competition

Kath makes a startling discovery when its revealed that she is still married and seeks her ex-husband to make their divorce final. Meanwhile, when Kim meets up with a tough roller derby skater, she believes she has found her calling.

15 :01x15 - Desire

Kim sets off on a new business idea, but her plans are put on hold when Craig decides not to be the financial backer. Meanwhile, Phil and Kath plan a romantic evening together.

Kath has asked Phil to move into her home, which she just happens to be fixing up for the Parade of Homes. Meanwhile, Kim is upset to learn that Craig has forgotten their anniversary of their second date, which is really all in his plans of getting her back.
