After rescuing a young woman (Kristen Hager) from a fiery car crash, Toby (Craig Olejnik) is troubled by visions of her missing son. Clearly traumatized and frightened by her abduction at gunpoint, Toby is unable to get her to share any information. As his own fears for the child's well-being increase, he realizes he's going to have to act quickly to make sense of the mental dissonance that plagues him.

As they do a training exercise, Toby sees images of a fire nearby. As he looks at the building, he sees nothing but a few moments later, the building explodes. Firefighters and Osman are here and it is easier to stop the fire fast. They bring someone in. The police suspects him of being responsible for the explosion but he swears he has quit cooking drugs to get his life back. Toby tries to find a commonality between several fires to prove that the victim has nothing to do with the fire.

Toby seems to strike lucky when a girl at a nightclub asks him back to her place, but things soon turn for the worse when she is found dead the next day.

Toby tries to help a teenage boy found beaten up by a group of kids and soon finds that Daniel is involved with more than just a rough crowd - he possibly had a hand in the death of a teen girl. Meanwhile, Oz tries to launch his way to stardom after saving a famous rapper.

While on a break, Osman and Logan hear gun shots. They arrive on the scene; two young Asians have been shot. One is dead and the other is on the brink of dying but Logan gets images of what is in his head just before he dies. Logan then goes in the restaurant and finds Kim, the sister of one of the deceased. She's blind and Raymond was her entire family.
Billy Tan, an important figure in Chinatown, helps the police and gives them the identity of a person who might be responsible for the shooting. Logan is not convinced that the person arrested is the culprit.
When Kim starts being harassed, Logan tries to convince the detective to protect Kim.

Toby and Oz are called to the scene of an accident where a baby fell several stories. The child appears to be badly hurt or dead but before they get there Toby sees a teenage girl apparently heal the baby's injuries. He tracks her down in the hope that he has finally found "another mind freak," and finds a lot more trouble than he bargained for.

Charlie is on the case of a young woman who was sexually assaulted, and she is convinced that she knows who the attacker was. The police and the EMS have been called on the scene of a crime.
Charlie, Toby and Oz find the victims. However, Toby hears that there is someone else in the house. They find Andy who is the son of the couple who have been killed. He's catatonic and has been badly stabbed. Charlie asks Toby to read him. Toby is afraid to do so because he's getting way too much thought from Andy.
Olivia asks Oz and Toby to be her barrier against Jennifer, her sister. She loves her but she's such a force of a nature that it is difficult to stay around her. Oz agrees when Olivia tells him how beautiful she is.

Os's parents restaurant is on the verge of closing if they do not find the money to pay up the creditors. Oz is exhausted from working both as an EMS and helping his parents. He convinces Toby to play at a poker game, sure that he would win. Toby, unfortunately, loses as he cannot really see the cards and only hear what they think while playing. Oz finds another thing where he can make money fast. Arthur Stebbes was convicted of murdering his wife. However, the body was never found. Arthur Stebbes is giving a reward for finding the body. Toby goes in to see Arthur and cannot see that he killed her. He investigates to find who actually killed her.

When one of four partners in a restaurant used for money laundering is murdered one partner, a famous chef de cuisine, accuses another partner, a mob boss, of the killing and is placed on witness protection. Toby is employed to confirm the accusation which seems genuine but to find out the truth the chef is allowed to cook a meal at the restaurant where the killing took place with the fourth partner and second chef, Magda, who were also present at the time of the murder.

The IIB are investigating a hacker releasing classified documents to the internet and the impending major release of thousands of documents when a sex tape of the foreign affairs minister, she is the main opponent of freedom of information, is released. Toby is tasked with finding the male escort in the videotape and who employed him to discredit the minister and find the person leaking the documents to the hacker.
