Gwen might only be a servant but she is noble at heart and counts her mistress Morganna as a close friend, despite the difference in their station. Although it's not certain, this is presumably not Arthur's Guinevere, as she is a servant and unlikely to be matched to the future king of all the Britons under any circumstances, such marriages being far more tied to alliances than attractions. |
