• Without a Trace, Privileged, Eleventh Hour Cancelled

May 19, 2009 - More cancellations coming in… EW.com's Michael Ausiello is reporting both Without a Trace and Privileged are finished.

Neither are shocking cancellations – in the case of Without a Trace, rising costs put both it and Cold Case (another long-running, Warner Bros produced series) in danger. But on the heels of a recent upswing in the ratings for Cold Case, CBS decided to renew that procedural and end Without a Trace.

Privileged had a small but loyal following and plenty of critical support, but had failed to make much of an impact on the CW. There was talk of it coming back as a midseason replacement, but with CW picking up three new series for next season (including Melrose Place, Vampire Diaries and Beautiful Life), Privileged fell by the wayside.

Ausiello says that the planned Gossip Girl spinoff/prequel Lily is also dead and won't be picked up for next season.

Update: Ausiello now adds that CBS has also officially cancelled Eleventh Hour.
