The Great Gildersleeve

The Great Gildersleeve

A TV version of a long-running radio show classic in which Throckmorton Gildersleeve, the head of the water department in Summerland, lives with his niece and nephew. Gildersleeve often had challenges for the affections of a girlfriend coming from the town's mayor.

Because the TV version and radio show both ran each week, the quality of both shows became poor and the series ended after one season of 39 episodes, which only 1/4 remain in existence.
