Popularity Contest

In CMT’s "POPULARITY CONTEST", ten contestants – all big city residents - are dropped into a small town in Texas to wage an all-out campaign for the title "Most Popular" – to be determined by a vote of the residents of the town. But not all ten will be around for the final count. Every three days at a town meeting, the residents gather to vote for their favorite candidate. The contestant with the least amount of votes is escorted out of town. In the end, the contestant ultimately voted "Most Popular" is awarded a $100,000 cash prize, and must split it with the town resident of their choice. Throughout the ten one-hour episodes, our players endure both physical and mental challenges that test their mettle – and their charisma – all the while engaged in a knock-down, drag-out, cutthroat, chili-cookoff, tractor-pulling, all-American "POPULARITY CONTEST".
