Summary
This mini-series starring Jimmy Nail follows Jed Shepperd (Nail) who dreams of being a country and western singer. Jed works at the shipyard and writes country music in his spare time and makes cassettes for his friends and family to listen to. Emma, his sister sends some of the cassettes off to record companies in London and one particular company likes the music and Ade Lynn becomes Jed's new manager. Jed enjoys fame and fortune as a singer and a celebrity and then packs it all in after accidentally killing drug dealer Snotter. But after hearing his song on the radio he starts plans for a second album. Make way for
Crocodile Shoes II. This sequel sees Jed get arrested for cocaine charges accused of Ade's murder and nearly killed by Warren Bowles. Then Jed decides to settle down with fiancee Wendy.
