(When Jed finds a ukelele in Ade's flat and begins to play it)
Ade: Bought it at a charity auction, belonged to George Harrison at one time, apparently.

George Harrison is a famous musician who was a member of The Beatles, he played guitar and sung on many of the songs. He was also a lover of the ukelele and played it regular. He was a friend of Jimmy Nail's.

Ade: The punters seem to like their heroes kinda tatty and rugged-looking. Wille Nelson for instance, what does he look like?

Ade is referring to Willie Nelson who is a famous American country singer who has also starrred in films and written poems.

Episode References
Jed's age is stated as 39.
