Gerri is an ambitious business woman who has no desire for a husband or family. She enjoys the unfettered single life. When Jodie's husband, Brian, is accidentally killed in such a way that looks bad for Jodie, Gerri puts her advertising skills to use to create an elaborate diversion campaign. Although she enjoys her relationship with Jodie's daughter, Kendall, Gerri is not the type to mollycoddle anyone. When Jodie shows signs of weakness under the strain of keeping up the charade that she does not know what happened to Brian, Gerri sets her straight about what is at stake for all of them. |
