5 days have passed between Sho's rejection of Kyoko and the beginning of this episode. Kyoko has since moved into Darumaya, the restaurant she still works at part time.
[opening credits]
Kyoko has taken to frequent places where talent scouts are known to be to no avail. It isn’t working, in fact she seems to be scaring people off.
The next scene Sho sneezes and is convinced it’s someone talking about him. Shoko says it’s Kyoko, bad-mouthing him. She tells him he’d better watch himself that Kyoko may very well enter show business to get even with him. But Sho is still convinced it’s impossible.
Kyoko is then seen trying to convince two receptionists to let her in to see someone in charge at LME to no avail. She can’t get in without an appointment. Its then that Mr. Sawara arrives. He talks to her and when Kyoko reveals she only wants to get into show business for show business sake he attempts to throw her out. He thinks Kyoko is just another Ren-fangirl just trying to get close to him.
It’s then that Ren shows up and Kyoko is extremely disgusted. Just as she realizes she doesn’t have to hate Ren, both Ren and Sawara toss her out into the street.
But Kyoko will not be deterred so easily. She kneels and waits in front of LME and refuses to move. Sawara is shocked.
Later when he sees she has gone he is relieved, but Kyoko hasn’t left, she’s waiting by the employee entrance for him with a shocking array of his personal information. He still refuses to let her in. She then proceeds with her unending campaign of horror. Chasing him down on her bike and ringing his doorbell all night,
for days on end.
He eventually gives in and tells her she has to audition and gives her the information she needs.
Kyoko is carrying out the audition forms when she bumps into Ren. He’s disgusted with her motivations (revenge) and thinks she is wasting everyone’s time. He then tells her guts will only take her so far. (It is in this scene that Ren slams Sho with the best insult ever: )
(Speaking of Sho) “Oh, him. If that's the level you're after, you can reach your goal even singing out of tune.”

Ren’s comments have pissed Kyoko off wholesale, to the point where she adds him to her ‘revenge’ list. She can’t understand why he was so angry, but she will show him up all the same.
When Kyoko arrives at the audition and sees how pretty all the other girls are she is discouraged right away. She proceeds to make a curse doll of Sho to vent her anger and reinforce her determination. Her revelry is interrupted by a rude girl shouting (Kanae) about a child who has entered the audition room (Maria). She then insults Kyoko homeliness. Kyoko is about to cut her down when the little girl in question starts to cry. The other girls comfort her but Kyoko scolds her and tells her that crying solves nothing.
In the next scene Sawara is convinced Kyoko will lose the audition and fears her wrath.
The girls are finally allowed into the audition room when Lory, the president of LME makes his extremely grand entrance. (It involves Brazilian dancers and musicians.)
Then next scene has Ren sitting backstage at a job commenting to Yoshiro about the auditions. Yoshiro thinks it’s odd that Ren cares, but Ren is still annoyed at Kyoko’s motivations.
Kyoko stands backstage at the auditions and watches the other girls. It seem the mean girl from earlier has impressed the judges with her talent. She is a speed reading with a photographic memory. It seems Kyoko has also made an impression but for a completely different reason. She admits she wants to catch up to Sho and everyone is put off. The other judges believe she’s just another fan-girl but Lory thinks otherwise. He’s sees something more.
Kyoko prepares for he own talent portion backstage and when she marches onstage with a Daikon radish and a chef’s knife everyone is shocked!
