“Strip Search” was a weekly 1-hour long reality series seen on VH1 on Thursday nights in 2005. Billy Cross from Australia who was the creator of the all-male Australian dance group called “Thunder from Down Under” was the host of this series. He was in search of an all-male American dance group to showcase in Las Vegas.
Billy and his co-host Rachel Perry drove around the country in a bus selecting contestants to try-out for the group. They began with 15 possible male candidates and over a 7 week period eliminated 1 person each week to get down to a final group of 7 all-male dance revue.
