Live! Dick Clark Presents was a weekly music variety show seen on CBS on Wednesdays from 8 to 9 PM ET, then on Saturdays from 8 to 9 PM ET. It debuted on 14 September 1988 but it only ran for 6 episodes ending on 22 October 1988. The show was put together by Host and Producer Dick Clark on very short notice to help CBS fill a void until their fall schedule could begin because of the 1988 writer’s strike.
