Season 2, Episode 20 - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
As everyone is getting ready for work, Michael walks into the change rooms hungover. Leon tries to tell Lawson about a link to a number of video store robberies, but Lawson isn't too fussed about it as he doesn't think TR should be staking out video stores all day. Leon then tells him that it is Kerry's birthday.

Out on the road, everyone is talking about what they should get for Kerry. A number of suggestions are made. Lawson, Shannon and Stella are then flashed by people in a passing car, and Lawson wants to go after them as they could be drunk. When they catch up to the people, Lawson eventually lets them off with a warning and ends up giving Stella $20 for a bet they made.

They all then get back to talking about Kerry's birthday present, and the conversation turns to someone taking her out to dinner, followed by sex. The question is who?

At the station, Kerry talks about having kids to Dom, who is on leave.

TR is then called to a disturbance near a pub, where a few men are fighting. Stella bets with Lawson again as to who might win the fight, but Lawson eventually comes between the men as it was getting out of hand.

Kerry's birthday conversation comes up again and in the operations room, Leon is listening in. Kerry starts listening as well. She then tells Lawson, who realises she must have heard what they were saying, that there is an Israeli minister in town and he needs 'babysitting' while he goes on a walk. Lawson nominates Stella and Shannon to do the job, who then find out that the man, who used to be a marathon runner, is going for a jog.

Leon tries to tell Kerry about the video store robberies, but her phone rings and she tells him that it's Lawson's call. Leon decides to take matters into his own hands and goes to one of the video stores.

Michael gets the lucky job of running with the minister, taking over from Shannon and Stella, who are exhausted.

At the video store, Leon is looking around, when two armed men walk in, demanding money. He hides, trying to ring Pete back at the TR base. One of the robbers sees him and they take all the people in the store into the backroom.

Lawson is getting suspicious about where Leon is and decides to see if he went to the video store. When TR get there, they find the robbers and Leon out the back of the store and they arrest the men. At base, Kerry tells Leon off and tells him that he does a better job sitting in the chair. Leon tells her that he wanted to be apart of the bet everyone has going.

Lawson decides that he will get a cake for Kerry, and Shannon and Stella sit in the car as they wait for him, chatting about Lawson and Kerry. They then spot a man on a bike who has just stolen a woman's bag as she crossed the street. They follow but lose him, as Lawson finally finds a good cake.

Leon finds out where three men who committed a robbery in Adelaide the previous day have gone - the MCG, where Hawthorn and Essendon are playing. TR arrives and they look for the men, who see the police there and run. When they are caught, they want to watch the rest of the game before they are arrested. Lawson and Josh agree.

Back at base at the end of the day, Lawson gets Kerry's cake ready and they all have champagne to celebrate. About to go home, Kerry sees a lava lamp from Michael, along with a CD of '80s songs from Leon. When she gets home, she puts the CD on and starts dancing. Josh and Michael, and Stella and Shannon play rock, paper scissors.

Back at Kerry's house, there is a knock at the door and she goes to answer it.
