The newest hit reality sensation in the U.S. is “America’s Got Talent” and it now airs versions in over 25 countries as well and “Минута славы” which translated into English means, “A Minute of Fame” is Russia’s version of the series. ”Минута славы” made its’ debut on 17 February 2007 on the Channel 1 TV network.
The host of this version is comedian Garik Martirosyan from Armenia. The judges include Iosif Kobzon a Russian singer, Tatyana Tolstaya an author and Alexander Maslyakov the host of “KVN” (Klub Veselikh i Nanodchivikh) a Russian comedy series that has been running since 1961.
