The CakeGirls in Chicago receive an order for a wedding cake for a DJ who would like to have an exact match of his turntable. The girls accept the order and challenge themselves to create a full-sized turntable cake complete with spinning records. Next, Lauri of Cake Alchemy (NYC), receives a request for a surprise engagement cake in the shape of one of Gaudi's most famous buildings in Barcelona, which has her feeling she can finally flex her creativity muscle and make something which will turn people's head. Lastly, in Los Angeles , Reva and Marc of Merci Beaucoup are asked for a garden-themed wedding cake. A last minute call from the bride requesting butter cream flowers instead of sugar flowers, makes Marc feel happiness that he can show off his expertise in butter cream. With Marc’s flower handiwork, the garden cake has an elegance about it that harkens back to an old-fashioned art form.
