This is a remake of the original anime with the name Shinzo Ningen Casshan.
The story takes place in a world where a robot controls humanity, and as time passes by less and less humans survive until the point that they are almost extinct, then one of the old robot heroes awakens again, but as he has lost his memory he is now fighting on the humans side, he is Casshern.
