A Dog for Harold - Recap

One afternoon Harold comes home with an abandoned dog he names Smiley. When George discovers Smiley, he orders Hazel to find him another home. Harold is crushed. Hazel puts Smiley in the basement for the night. The next morning, Harold is missing and the family fears he's run away. Harold is found asleep in the basement with his arms around Smiley. George approaches Smiley and the dog gently licks his hand. George decides Smiley is a good dog and should remain in the house. Harold is delighted.
