They will attempt to create an avalanche using explosives before a skier gets on the mountain and causes one themselves. Meanwhile, the rest of the patrol stay busy with a pair of skiers in critical condition following a collision, plus a speed demon threatens the slopes and a group of competitors who are skiing vertical at 3,000 feet. | |

| 12 :01x12 - Downed Beginner (Nov/05/2008) | A skier receives a massive laceration and is bleeding profusely when he makes a jump off a 15 foot cliff onto a rock. But the ski patrols job toughens when a storm rolls in and snow blocks the access road and a helicopter is called in but is unable to land. Then, a toboggan rescue is used when they need to navigate a 2000 foot vertical drop, an injured beginner is left behind by his friends, and one patroller quits the team.
