Couples on the brink of separation and divorce are offered the opportunity to get their relationship back on track in seven days with TLC’s new series, "One Week To Save Your Marriage" — hosted by renowned psychotherapist Dr. Robi Ludwig.

Each hour-long episode is dedicated to the story of one couple that is making a last-ditch attempt to save their marriage by working with Dr. Ludwig over a seven-day time span. The couples must clear their schedules to fully dedicate 24 hours a day for 7 days to Dr. Ludwig’s program — without work or children around as distraction.

Closed-circuit television cameras are placed throughout their home, giving viewers full access to their daily lives and an unfiltered inside look into their relationship. Every fight, disagreement, and negative word — and how the couple resolves the situation — is captured. After closely observing the couple’s interaction, Dr. Ludwig makes her move to begin repairing their marriage. Within seven days, Dr. Ludwig puts each couple through a series of exercises designed to release hidden resentments, re-open the lines of communication and teach each person how their words and actions impact their spouse, all with the ultimate goal to rekindle the romantic flame between them.

Through role-reversal and cathartic exercises, Dr. Ludwig encourages the couple to get to a place where they can empathize and connect with each other. Finally, she forces the couple to confront the reality of divorce. Each episode concludes with Dr. Ludwig asking the ultimate question —whether or not they want to save their marriage.
