Tim Sibley is on the gynae ward with Polly doing some work experience in the hope that it will help him get a job with Whitman's firm. But Chrissy, the new department manager, wonders why Rob is planning to leave when he is obviously more capable of performing the job than Tim.

Rob asks Hurley for a reference but Hurley implies that he'll only help if Rob reveals what he knows about the mistakes made with Wendy.

Rob's problems continue: he meets with Donna in the hospital grounds and she makes it clear that she wants to end their affair...
