XIII: The Conspiracy (also known as XIII) is a TV mini-series that originally aired in France (on Canal+), with later airdates in Canada and the United States (on NBC). The series is based loosely on a video game, a Belgium cult comic book and a graphic novel. The first female President of the United States is assassinated by a sniper as she is giving a speech on Independence Day and it becomes evident that it's a conspiracy.
A group of special ops forces track down a man that was washed ashore with no memory. The amnesiac hunts down and kills the ops soldiers one by one as he searches for answers to help him restore his memory. The only clue he has is the XIII tattoo on his neck. The series stars Stephen Dorf as XIII, Val Kilmer as Mongoose and Mimi Kuzyk as President Sally Sheridan.
