Dutch TV drama series about the 21-year-old Eva Bender, she works as an au pair in France, when one day her parents come over to tell her that they are splitting up. The next morning Eva receives a message that her parents have had an accident on the way home. Her mother has died and her father was seriously injured and is in a coma. In the Netherlands, Eva discoveres that her father has a second house in Amsterdam and led a mysterious double life. Step by step the mystery unravels. The quest leads Eva back to France, where she reconstructs the day. And then the cohesion between all the events becomes clear.
