Host Scott McGillivray is a hot property who knows all about hot properties – he owns 18 income-generating homes that he has converted and renovated himself. In every episode of the series, Scott will offer design options, prepare plans for a conversion and manage the construction of a rental suite in the participating couple’s home.

The key is organization and planning. Scott has honed his organizational skills during the hundreds of renovation projects he has overseen, and it shows.
