Dancin' On Air and it's sister show Dance Party USA were the second longest running dance show proceeding another dance show that originated from Philadelphia,American Bandstand.
Filmed live from the studio of WPHL in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania, local teens flocked to dance on television to the current hit music of the 1980s.
With big hair galore teens bopped to live appearances from bands such as Duran Duran,New Edition,the Hooters and a new aspiring singer named Madonna.
