Episode Summary

Aboard an elegant yacht, Sei, Meg, and Amy attend a gathering of the White Lotus and Black Lotus organisations. The two sides, from China and Japan respectively, are meeting to consolidate their power by joining forces once again after a long separation. To seal the pact, Sei's grandfather, Laopan, has offered her as a bride for the leader of the Black Lotus.

Laopan mentions to Sei that the name of the Japanese organisation is the Kokuren. In Japanese it is written as 黒蓮 and it translates into English as Black Lotus.
