In Ōsaka, a passenger train hits an out-of-control, empty train that had been on the same track. The Hanshin Police take over the case and the lead detective receives a scrambled call from the terrorist who claims responsibility and warns that there is more danger to come. The police take to the streets to find the terrorist before it's too late. At the same time, Jo make her way into the area.

| Japanese Title:「東の天使 西の鷹」-「Higashi no Tenshi, Nishi no Taka」 | Jo's Gun Permit card has kanji at the bottom of it: 合法の限り無期限有効. In Japanese, it says Gōhō no Kagiri Mukigen Yūkō; in English, it says Valid with no Legal Time Period Restrictions. | The sign on the restaurant that Jo is eating at, ホルモンうどんめし, says Hormone Udon Meshi. Hormone is the name of the place, "udon", also 饂飩, is a thick noodle, and "meshi", also 飯, means "cooked food". | Japanese on the Ōsaka Dome's Mega Screen:
- 激闘ツフルスロットル!! (Gekitō to Full Throttle!!) - To the Full Throttle Fierce Battle!!
- 急げツバトルステージヘ!! (Isoge to Battle Stage e!!) - Hurry to the Battle Stage!! | Kanji Near Damaged Train where the Creature Faces Jo: 立入禁止 (Tachi'iri Kinshi) - Keep Out. | Takane's given name, spelled in kanji as 鷹音, means "sound of a hawk". Her family name Katsu, 勝, "win" or "prevail". |

| The sign on the building near the taxi-stand is written in kanji as 大大阪駅. The Latin letters below it, DAIO-SAKA EKI, put the hyphen in the incorrect place. The city's name is Ōsaka so the hyphen should go after the 'i' in 'Dai'. Dai-Ōsaka Eki means Greater Ōsaka Station. | Credits Errors:
FUNimation misspells two Japanese names in the outro credits. Tamotsu Nishiwaka should be Tamotsu Nishiwaki and Tadahisa Nishimae should be Tadahisa Saizen. |

| Dome: Hanshin Tigers
The Ōsaka Tiger Dome is a fictional creation. However, there are two baseball teams for the area. One is the Hanshin (Ōsaka-Kōbe Area) Tigers of the Central League, written in Japanese as 阪神・タイガース. The Tigers play at Kōshien Stadium near Kōbe. The other team, the Orix Buffaloes of the Pacific League
(オリックス・バファローズ), play baseball at the Ōsaka Dome. More information on the two teams can be found here. |
