Merel de Ridder is fascinated by horses. She is the new assistant at riding stables 'De Paardenhoeve'. Her father is not aware of this new job because horses and riding schools are forbidden words at the Ridder's home. because her mother saw the death on a horse. Merel works hard and enjoys every day she spends with the horses. Muck out stables, wipe out the track, cleaning saddles and feeding horses are among her daily activities.
