Potboiler of a mini-series that aired on NBC in October of 1977. It was based on a novel by Harold Robbins and the storyline concerned a poor teenaged girl (Lesley Ann Warren) in 1930's New York City who was forced into prostitution by circumstances and eventually rises to become New York's most famous madame.
