Can't taste at home but judging on observation, listening to comments, personal experience....
1.Easier to get breast right if you ignore dark meat. Suspect two competitors (not 1) had rare dark meat. And the one who turned in just breast should have been dinged big for ignoring it should be pulled and not including dark. Meat also starts to dry after pulling so his keeping it in big pieces was unfair as well.
2. Raw meat..automatic DQ anywhere I've been
3. One and only one team had correct chicken box...pulled, light and dark both cooked. Unfortunate he didn't check his ribs for color while cooking...too busy trash talkin?
But...taste trumps that below avg. appearance.
So these are 3 of the best teams in TN?
