Not only is the family feeling the pinch of their cramped quarters, practiaclly everyone in the neighborhood does, too. Their family home has become one big block party and they love it. But while Chris and Mary are hanging on to the sentiment of their home, they also recognize the problems that make this place so problematic. They've had it with small spaces, narrow pathways and multipurpose places. Arriving in the nick of time are Hilary and David. Hilary's team will renovate the home and David will show the couple houses that better fit their needs. In the end, they'll have to decide: will they love their home again or will they list it?

For Jeff and Mika, it didn't take long for their suburban home to go from wonderful to way too small. In addition to a main floor layout consisting of too many walls, their house is struggling in several ways. The basement is damp, there is only one shower, and Jeff's passion for wine does not have a proper storage area. Wading into these troubled waters are designer Hilary and realtor David, each determined to bridge the divide between this conflicted couple. Hilary's team will be coming up with design plans and completing renovations aimed at convincing both homeowners to love this home again. David knows it's time to list and plans to cinvince the couple by showing them what other homes have to offer. In the end, will they love it or list it?

116 :06x09 - Privacy Pains

Partners Sandra and Sharon were not quite on the same page when they moved their two teens into this 2,000 square foot bungalow. Sharon loves the house and wants to make it work, but Sandra is over it and is ready to move on. The family is struggling with a terrible entryway, a tiny kitchen, a less than ideal backyard access, and most importantly: a lack of privacy. With all the bedrooms on the same level, it's hard for anyone to have any personal space. Arriving on the scene are realtor David, who will show the family bigger and better housing options, and designer Hilary, who will attempt to restore the couple's love of their bungalow with a magnificent makeover. When it's all said and done, Sandra and Sharon will have to decide: will they love their home again or will they list it?

Torn between the reality of living in this '70s chateau and the costs of running it, Kevvie and Nicole are at odds about what to do with their home. Thankfully, help is on the way in the form of designer Hilary and realtor David. Hilary's team will redesign the retro residence to restore the love for it. While David will attempt to relocate the family into cool new quarters. In the end, will they love it or list it?
