Like many other rich victims before him, Jason falls under the hypnotic spell of Elaine and Claudia, two female crooks, who steal the only copy of his recently completed screenplay. For its safe return, they instruct him to steal the Constance Missal, a historic manuscript that has just become the property of the British Museum. The ladies use hypnotism to carry out robberies. Whilst Claudia watches from their car, Elaine climbs the wall of a house. She is able to steal the Efridge necklace whilst its mesmerized owner watches on. Elaine returns to the car with her haul and the two women drive off...
