Against his gruff father's wishes, struggling actor Anthony (Anthony Anderson) moves in with his parents to provide for his young son and pursue his career. First up: Anthony finds out he'll have to live in the garage because his childhood room is being rented by a medical student.

When Tuga a gets a bicycle from Joe and asks his dad to go riding with him, Anthony admits that he never learned how to ride a bike. Also: Lydia tutors a 15-year-old genius (Martin Spanjers) who has a crush on her.

When Anthony encourages parents to ban dodgeball at Tuga's school because it's too rough, Joe challenges the sport's skeptics to a game against its supporters, with the winning team determining its fate. Elsewhere, Lydia has second thoughts about medical school when she continues to faint at the sight of blood

Tuga's mention of an invisible friend prompts Anthony and Joe to visit a child psychiatrist, who tells them to curb their incessant fighting for Tuga's well-being. Elsewhere, Lydia is self-conscious about the size of her chest.

Joe and Anthony take Tuga camping with his classmates in an effort to help him make some friends, but the trip starts out badly when they get lost and there's a mix-up with the camping gear. Elsewhere, Flo and Lydia host a lingerie party with the help of Anthony's friend Marcus (Ron-Reaco Lee)
