Charlie Barkin was a dog who met his maker, though after a series of events resulted in him becoming a guardian angel, he was allowed to live on Earth as long as he continued to accept assignments from Heaven. Now, he lives in the sunny city of San Francisco, along with his sidekick Itchy, and the two of them are often tasked with foiling the schemes of villains and crooks, all the while trying to stay out of trouble.
