"Heartland Thunder" follows four individuals from Kansas who all have one thing in common - their passion for Friday night dirt-track racing. Meet Tim Karrick, Justin Boney, Tom Charles and his son Dan Charles who are all motivated by the thrill of speed and excitement of competition. As well as devoting time between their jobs and families, they spend long hours re-tooling their engines and re-building their cars - all in hopes of finding glory on Friday nights.   show cancelling???Rating: 2 likes, 0 dislikesno idea as to why this show was cancelled. i thought it was the next best thing that the discovery channel had going for them. maybe they could stop showing re-runs of deadliest catch, and mythbusters all the time and they might find time to put this show back on the air. i mean come on, the ultimate car build off? that show belongs on the speed channel or on spike tv on sunday afternoons. not prime time in a reality tv slot. and they drop off the show as tom charles is talking to the owner of mullins racing. i dont know about everyone else out there, but ive been wanting to know why a 25,000 dollar race engine blew up for two weeks now...and counting. not trying to make mullins racing look bad but im very, very curious as to why this happened. please bring this show back before the versus channel makes you look like fools when they bring about dirt knights this winter and make a huge profit on it because discovery cancelled heartland thunder. if it is because of all the drama that took place, big deal, american chopper had much more drama constantly than this show could ever produce. all im trying to say is, this was a very great show while it lasted. i enjoyed it emensly. people i work with enjoyed it. and people ive talked to enjoyed it. the only show that i would ever consider watching week after week gets cancelled after the sixth showing. bring back this awesome show!
