Archie tries in vain to get a loan to buyout Harry .

5 :01x05 - Edith vs. the Energy Crisis

Because of heat limit of 60 degrees imposed because of the energy crisis, Archie finds himself in the cold at the bar, but things are even worse at home where Edith is conserving energy with a vigor. But soon Archie feels hot even without heat, when he comes down with a strep throat. Which it turns out he caught from Dr. Sydney Shapiro when he sneezed in Archie's face during Stephanie's visit the previous week.



6 :01x06 - Bosom Partners

Edith arranges for Mike, Gloria, and Joey to come home to surprise Archie with a Thanksgiving visit. But what Archie does not know was that Mike was fired from his teaching job after he was arrested for protesting nude agents a proposed nuclear power plant after his picture at the protest was published in the paper. To make this worse Joey has hid the knobs from the TV.



11 :01x11 - Thanksgiving Reunion (2)

Murray tries to convince Archie that he is being too hard on Mike. Murray asks Archie if he would protest nude if it would make the word a safer place. Archie comes home and starts eating the leftover turkey in the kitchen after he wakes up Mike. Mike joins him at the table. Archie offer to loan Mike money to help him get back on his feet. They are then joined by Edith and latter Gloria around the kitchen table. Archie asked Gloria how could she let her husband mach in a parade where everyone was naked? Her answer: because she didn’t want to march alone.



12 :01x12 - Barney and the Hooker

Murray bails Dottie out from jail and convinces
Archie to hire her as a waitress to keep her from returning to her from returning to her old profession, but newly divorced Barney falls for her and is soon asking for her hand in marriage.



13 :01x13 - Man of the Year

Phil Weber, a con man who claims to be an old Briant High classmate of Archie's, tells Archie that he has been made an organization's man of the year. Archie and Murray decide to hold the ceremony at the bar which Archie's high school classmates are invited to and are asked for as an entrance fee which is supposed to pay for an organ in Archie's name at Briant High. Archie and Murray realize Phil has run off with the money, but Archie insist Murray not tell his classmates feeling they will lose respect for him if they knew the truth.



14 :01x14 - The Shabbat Dinner

15 :01x15 - Barney's Lawsuit

Barney gets hurt after his lucky bar stool which he has been sitting on since Mets won the 1969 World Series collapses. Archie fears Barney will sue after her learns Barney has hired a shady lawyer and the Bar's liability insurance policy was voided when it was expanded into to restaurant extension

18 :01x18 - The Ambush

The partners fear a neighborhood burglar named the Saturday Night Bandit. Archie decides to stay at the bar overnight to try to catch "him" Murray comes back to because he thinks Archie might be putting himself in danger. The "burglars" turns out to be not quite what Murray and Archie expect when they take Archie and Murray by surprise and turn out to be women.



19 :01x19 - The Return of Sammy

After Archie calls Sammy Davis Jr on a local TV Talk Show on which Sammy is a guest, Archie convinces Sammy to visit the bar, but When Sammy chokes of some food Veronica has given him to try, Archie performs the Heimlich maneuver but in the process Archie hurt some of Sammy's ribs which Sammy thinks they may be broken, putting Sammy in the hospital. At the hospital It turns to Sammy’s ribs are not broken after all. Sammy has seen some changes in Archie and when the freelance reporter who has been following Sammy for a story on race relations wants to write about Archie's bigotry Sammy stands up for Archie. Unfortunately Sammy is unable to convince her not to write it. In the end Archie who was kissed by Sammy in "Sammy's Visit" kisses Sammy this time.



20 :01x20 - Archie Fixes Up Fred

After a customer named Tom who is Archie's lodge brother in the Kings of Queens complains about Fred the Gay waiter. Archie tries to fix Fred up with the Linda girl from the laundry hoping this will turn him around. In the end it turns out Tom's real reason for complaining about Fred is in that Tom is in closet and Fred turned him down. Fred decides to quit his job as waiter.



21 :01x21 - Father and Daughter Night

Stephanie needs a father for a talent show. When Archie is unwilling Murray steps in. Archie becomes jealous of Murray and Stephanie. Archie and Murray decide they will both perform with Stephanie. They louse the contest but the gang at the bar convinces the trio to give them a personal performance.



22 :01x22 - Van Ranseleer's Operation

When Barney finds possible cure for Mr. VanRanseleer's blindness in the newspaper. Archie and the gang raise money thinking that lack of money is the reason Mr.VanRanseleer seems to be unwilling to have this operation, but It turns out the Dr. Larkin the doctor from the article has been both Mr. Van Ranseleer’s doctor and friend for years and the story from the news paper was misleading. Infarct as Dr.Larkin already knows and the gang at the bar doesn’t is that Mr. Van Ranseleer made a fortune on the stock market and has donated a lot of money to help the doctor’s research. VanRanseleer has kept it a secret because he did not want to be treated any different because he had money. VanRanseleer and the Dr. Larkin convince the gang to donate the money they raised to the doctor’s Research



23 :01x23 - Veronica's Ex

29 :02x05 - The Wildcat Strike

Murray's ex-wife Shelley who he has not seen in many years pays him a surprise visit. Even Archie likes her. Unfortunately Archie, Harry and Veronica do not fit into her plans for the bar.

When the supermarket Manager sees Archie and Mrs. Canby shopping together he accuses them of being a couple for this Archie punches him. Which is bad for Archie considering the Manager is also the leader of Archie lodge The Kings of Queens. Archie decides not to apologize which will lead to him being kicked out of the lodge.

40 :02x16 - Tough Love

Veronica hits rock bottom when Murray and Archie discover her drunk in the storeroom. Murray refers her to him doctor who tells her to give up drinking but who gives Valium to help relax her. But when Veronica takes the Valium with Alcohol she collapses and has to have her stomach pumped. Archie tells Veronica he will fire her if she doesn't stay sober. When she is caught with a bottle of boos Archie fires her. It takes this to show her she must make a commitment to stop
drinking. With Archie's support she calls Alcoholics Anonymous.



41 :02x17 - The Trashing of the Temple

A Rash of vandalism of Synagogues around the city brings Rabbi Jacobs to the Bar to Ask Archie the only non Jewish member of Temple Beth Isaiah to join a committee to protect against these acts, but Archie will not join. When Temple Beth Isaiah is itself vandalized Archie decides that it is unsafe for Stephanie to be around the Synagogue and threatens to pull her out of Hebrew School .Mr. Van Ranseleer is able to get Archie to see his approach is wrong and Archie shows up to the Committee meeting where he volunteers to canvas the neighborhood for vandalism on Thursday nights.



42 :02x18 - La Cage aux Bunker

Murray is ready to propose to his girlfriend Marcie and turns down his mother invitation to dinner. When his mother dies of a Heat attack at the same time he is out on his date proposing to his girlfriend. Murray feels guilty that he wasn't with his mother when she died. Murray's girlfriend thinks he blames her. After talking to his mother's friends Murray learns his mother was wining a poker game and very happy at the time of her death. But when he wants to apologize to Marcie he learns she has taken a Job in San Francisco.



44 :02x20 - Goodbye, Murray (2)

With his girlfriend Marcie gone Murray is unable to concentrate on business. When Murray tries to contact her through the company he realizes she is sill in New York. Once they make up Murray decides the best thing he can do is move with her to San Francisco. Though Archie tries to convince Murray to stay Murray decides he must follow his heart and the gang at the bar must say farewell to Murray.

46 :03x02 - The Business Manager

Archie realizes that Roger may be the only one who can keep the bar afloat

When Archie goes to the headquarters the head of the company calls in a goon who puts out the $60 but then blocks him from getting to the money. Archie decides to say they gave him the money while secretly paying it out of his own pocket. Inspired by what she thinks was courageousness by Archie in standing up to the company Mrs. Camby decides to make clothing and try to sell it her self.

For Stephanie 13th birthday Billie buys her tickets to a sold out punk rock concert but Archie Forbids her to go. But on the night of the Concert Archie finds the House Empty and the tickets and Archie and Barney go to Madison Square Garden looking for the two girls but unknown to Archie Stephanie and Billie were only out getting Pizza and Billie had sold the Tickets to a Friend. But Archie and Barney get arrested when they get mixed in an unruly mob of people without tickets. Archie and Barney are arrested and thanks to Barney mistaken for pedophiles. They looked up with 2 men charged with statutory rape in the park (Archie and Barney think it means rape of a statue in the park) and another that strangled his wife.

Grandma Harris takes Floyd to task on the phony broach tells him she does not think he’s changed and is only after money. Floyd asks Grandma Harris for money for his investment in Miami. She will not give it to him and tell him she thinks he is only using Stephanie to get money out of her. After using the bathroom upstairs Archie catches Floyd taking money off the money tree in Stephanie’s room. Archie confronts Floyd and calls him a thief and a liar Stephanie comes in and realizes what Floyd has done, but she lets Floyd have the money though she still is very disappointed in him. When Stephanie asks Grandma Harris if the broach really belonged to her mother not wanting to disappoint Stephanie she tell her “It was her very favorite”.

This pleases Gary because he will not have to work for Archie anymore, but Gary's joy is short lived when his Brother Barry knowing how much Gary hates working for Archie suggest a way that Murray can get capital from his half of the bar without selling it.

Barney gets a job as a salesman at a shady electronics store named "TV Heaven". Barney convinces Archie to replace the malfunctioning TV at the bar with a new TV, but Archie Does not trust or want to pay for delivery men and demands Barney help him install the TV Instead . During this process Barney drops the TV. When Barney's boss store owner Marty Marquetti refuses to replace it. Archie decides to take Marty to court where Barney is set to testify against Archie with his job on the line if he tells the truth.
