Take one scouser, a brummie on a bike, a handful of Geordies, a Bristol gentleman and a cockney chippy. All thrown together on a building site in Germany.
Seven men seek work in Germany and go by the names of Oz, Dennis, Neville, Barry, Moxey, Wayne and Bomber. We see the boys looking for love, money, a few beers and a good night out.
In the second series the lads are re-united and help Barry build his house. Then Dennis's boss Ally Fraser gives them 2 jobs one in Derbyshire renovating Thornley Manor and a job of a lifetime in Spain.
The third series sees the lads (minus Wayne) re-united again and Oz has a proposition for them, to pull down the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough and in his own words 'to flog it for a fortune'.
The fourth series sees the boys re-building the British Embassy in Cuba after earthqukaes brought it down.
This show made the seven main cast members very famous people. Many other people have appeared in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet before hitting the big time.
