Ballykissangel (also known as BallyK) is a series set in a small village in Ireland. The series starts with a new priest, Father Peter Clifford (Stephen Tompkinson), taking over the local priestly duties in BallyK. The locals are happy to have a new priest, but are suspious of this Englishman. The local pub is owned by Asumpta Fitzgerald (Dervla Kirwan), and the local constable, Ambrose Egan (Peter Hanly), is setting up a family with the daughter, Niamh Quigley (Tina Kellegher), of the local business leader of the community, Brian Quigley (Tony Doyle) (information for the first three seasons/series).
The series lasted Six years and featured something of a revolving cast.
