"Beakman's World" Summary |

Beakman's World was like a younger, cooler Bill Nye the Science Guy. Beakman would answer science questions sent in by viewers in a way that made learning seem fun. He used humor and a lot of energy to teach children all about scientific principles. Beakman was accompanied by his assistant, Josie (later replaced by Liza), and a giant man in a rat costume, Lester. Josie was very inquisitive yet intelligent and energetic. Lester was more cynical and was always verbally skeptical of Beakman's experiments and explanations. Together, the three provided an educational show masked by silliness and mirth.
