Receiving a letter from Danielle, his girlfriend in France, ending their relationship and angry that Charlie knew and didn't tell him, Jim is back on the bottle. Charlie decides to keep Jim busy and hires him to accompany him to Bath as a "minder" of a priceless painting he has received as payment of a debt.
