Love Is A Many Splendored Thing premiered on September 18, 1967 and aired on the CBS network in the United States. The series was adapted for television by Irna Phillips.

The series was based on the 1955 movie of the same name. Han and Mark's daughter from the movie Mia who was now grown up moved to the United States to study medicine in San Francisco.

The series was cancelled in March, 1973.
