Dean: Sam, remember when you were little? You used to ask me all the time, you'd say, "How come we don't have a mom, Dean?" "And where does Dad go when he takes off for days on end?" You were so young and innocent, I--I decided right there I would protect you. I would do everything in my power to keep you safe, little brother. But I blew it. I'm so sorry, Sam. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. I couldn't protect anyone in the end. First Dad, then you. Sam, how--how can I make this up to you?
Crossroad Demon: I'm sorry, Dean, but that pathetic soul of yours really isn't worth that much. Now why don't you run along and bury Sam before he starts to rot.
Dean: I'm going to kill you.
Azazel: Oh. You scare me, Dean. Unfortunately for you, however, you're out of time. I'm afraid it's all over for you, Dean.
Sam: I guess Dad managed to get out of Hell somehow.
Dean: I guess. But then, we'd expect no less from him.
