Episode Quotes
Allen: My son’s lying to me about loving me and I’m thinking, what kind of son does that? And I’m thinking, the son of a liar. A thief. I killed a man.
The Man: Yes you did.
Allen: To get what I wanted.
The Man: Yes.
Allen: You told me to find a dirty cop in my precinct.
The Man: Yes.
Allen: To protect him.
The Man: Um-hmm.
Allen: I’m the dirty cop.
The Man: Well, our deal was that you would hear God again. Did you? Are you?
Sister Carmel: Yes.
The Man: What’re you hearing?
Sister Carmel: That I’m going to have a child. Hearing it now. And now...?
The Man: Then our deal here is done.
James: But I didn’t do the thing.
The Man: I never said your son would die if you didn’t do the deed.
James: I almost killed a little girl for you.
The Man: You almost killed a little girl for you. Remember that.
James: You’re a monster.
The Man: You might say... I feed monsters.
Gerald: I was told you can help people with things.
The Man: Yes.
Gerald: You can make deals to give people what they want.
The Man: I can.
Gerald: My daughter. I want my daughter back. Can you do that?
The Man: Melody. You want Melody alive again.
Gerald: Yes.
The Man: That can happen.
