Boh Hope, who seemed to travel the treadmill of show business as relaxed as a man on a chaise loung, undertook a massive TV effort for the 1963 fall.
He looked forward to his double-barreled comedy and drama series as "an exciting challenge."
Hope starred in eight specials and served as impresario of 26 hour dramas filmed in color at Revue Studios.
The Hope starring vehicles were titled Chrysler Presents A Bob Hope Special.
The dramatic segments were called Bob Hope Presents The Chrysler Theater.
