Blind Auditions continue on with more spots to fill. Danny O’Donoghue, Jesse J, Sir Tom Jones and Will.I.Am are ready for the challenge to find the best to be able to coach through to the finals and win it all for their team. Tonight the Blind Auditions come to an end.
The first up is 21-year-old Emmy J Mac from Isle of Wight. She is a children’s writer and entertainer. She says that she doesn’t have the biggest voice but hopes to get the judges to turn around. She comes out and sings “Put Your Records On”. Will.I.Am, Sir Tom Jones and Danny turn their chairs around for her. Will.I.Am says that she has a lovely voice. He says that there was a pitchy moment and says that he didn’t care. Sir Tom Jones says that she has a great tone. He says that he wants to pass on his experience. Danny says that she has a unique voice. She goes with Danny.
Next up is 25-year-old Jenny Jones from Dudley. She says that she sang in the church when she was 12 and she went on Tour. She got ill and then got better. She then went back to singing and works in a bar. She says that she is ready to do it again. She comes out and sings “Mercy”. Will.I.Am and Danny turn around. Will.I.Am says that he waited to the last minute because he didn’t want Danny to push it too. Danny says that he had to see her and says that it was great. Jesse J says that she didn’t turn around because she has to grow into her diction. Danny tells her that he will go through the list and says that she has a story to tell. Will.I.Am says that he would work with her based on the things that she gives her to mold her the way she wants. She goes with Will.I.Am.
Next is 17-year-old Sophie Griffin from Northern Ireland. She says that she does gigs in pubs and loves to sing. She is a big fan of Danny. She says that this can’t get any bigger and is nervous to sing in front of Danny. She comes out and sings “American Boy”. Will.I.Am turns around. Danny says that he is sorry that he didn’t push his button. Will.I.Am says that she has a great voice and the switch up was really dope. She joins Will.I.Am’s team.
Up next is 33-year-old Ben Lake from Surrey. He says that he was in Jerry Springer the Opera. He says that he doesn’t know what to do now after leaving opera. He goes out on the stage and sings “I Who Have Nothing”. However, no matter how hard he tries, no one turns around. Sir Tom Jones says that he has a strong voice, but it sounded too operatic for him. Jesse J says that his voice is amazing, but she couldn’t do anything for him more.
Next is 17-year-old Indie and 18-year-old Pixie from Guildford. They say that they live together and eat together and are like a married couple. They want to show that they have talent and that they can do it together. They come out and sing “Perfect”. Jesse J hears that there are two of them and turns around. Jesse tells them to turn around and everyone turns around. Danny says that they did great and knew it was special. Will.I.Am says that he liked it and says that they are 3 times dope. Jesse J says that they blend nicely. Sir Tom Jones says that he loved that they sound fresh. He says that it was a little pitchy and that could be fixed. The girls choose Jesse J.
Up next is 41-year-old Lindsey Butler from West Bromwich. She says that she wanted to get a career in music, but she always lacked confidence. However, she wants to make it happen for her and is excited that she will be in the same room as Sir Tom Jones. She comes out and sings “I Don’t Want to Talk About It”. Sir Tom Jones turns around. He says that she put her own sound to it and they are going to beat these people. Danny says that she has a good voice and she says that he is cute, but not as cute as Tom. Lindsey joins Sir Tom Jone’s team.
Next up is 17-year-old Harriet Whitehead from Ebbw Vale. She says that she is a little bit of a hippie at heart and says that she went out and traveled around. She says that she just needs to tell her story. She comes out and sings “What’s Up”. However, no matter how hard she tries, no one turns around. Danny says that he has similar people on his team already. Jesse J says that it is a shame that they can only pick 10 people. Will.I.Am says that this is not the last that they are going to see of her and says that she has a talented voice.
Up next is 33-year-old John James Newman from Yateley. He says that there is always a performance aspect in his family and says that his father is a performer and brother is an actor. He says that he has natural nerves, but wants to change his life. He comes out and sings “Pack Up/Don’t Worry Be Happy”. Sir Tom Jones turns around and Danny turn around. Tom Jones says that he sounded great. Danny says that he has great talent. John James goes with Danny. With that, Team Danny is complete.
Next up is 19-year-old Ruth Brown from West Norwood. She says that singing brings back happy memories about when her father was alive. She says that she is nervous, but wants to show off her voice. She comes out and sings “When Love Takes Over”. At the end, Sir Tom Jones turns around. He says that she is a great singer and is glad that she is on his team. Jesse J says that she is great and that Tom is going to do great things with her. She joins Sir Tom’s team and with that, Team Tom is complete.
Up next is 17-year-old Becky Hill from Kidderminster. She says that she is a typical teenager and says that she is very passionate in her singing. She wants to be like one of the classic singers. She hopes to rock everything out. She goes out on stage and sings “Ordinary People”. Right away Will.I.Am and Jess J turn around. Jesse J says that she is the reason she came on the show and says that she wants her to be on her team. She says that Becky sang that better then the original. Will.I.Am says that song is special to him because he wrote that with John Legend. He says that he loved her tone on how she sang that. Becky asks them what they have to offer. Will.I.Am says that he will get the best version of her and help her. Jesse J says that she could be in her shows and wants to teach her to be the artist she wants to be. Becky goes with Jesse J. Thus, that completes Team Jesse.
Next is 21-year-old Chloe Blackwell from London. She says that she has been singing since 11-years-old and she has been ready for this. She comes out and sings “This Love”. However, no matter how hard tries, she doesn’t get Will.I.Am to turn around. Will.I.Am says that she is perfect, but says that he is waiting for something better.
Next up is 27-year-old Jaz Ellington from London. He is a singing teacher and says that he is an expecting father. He says that he wants to go with it. Also up for the last spot is 35-year-old Daniel Walker from London. He is also expecting his first child and says that it is important for him to step up. Daniel comes out first and sings “Kiss From A Rose”. However, Will.I.Am doesn’t turn around. Danny says that he did a fantastic job, but he already has 10 on his team. Jesse J says that she would have loved to work with him. Will.I.Am says that he knows how it must feel. However he sounded green.
Next is Jaz’s turns and he says that this could be a great future for him. He comes out and sings “The A Team”. He turns around and laughs at the other coaches. Will.I.Am says that he sang the way he wanted to wait for and says that he always follows his gut and says that he is glad to be on his team. Jesse J asks him to sing another song and he sings “Ordinary People” he makes Will.I.Am and Jesse J cry. That makes it for Team Will.I.Am.
