She then tells the scientist that Buzz told her that the first time she met him, and explains the experience thoroughly. That gives the scientist a little hope, but when Zurg sends his mechanical insects by the thousands, the scientist states that it's hopeless. Booster responds saying "It's never hopeless." And tells the scientist that Buzz told him that when he first met him, then also explains the experience. That boosts the scientist's hope, but it disappears when Zurg comes in his giant robot. The scientist begins to doubt Buzz, and XR says that this reminds him of his first time meeting Buzz, where they were out of lime yogurt, and Buzz gave XR his.
