As a child, Jason witnesses his father's kingdom being overrun by his uncle, Pelias, and he looks on as Pelias kills his father, and then turns to kill him. Jason is swept to safety by a guard. Twenty years later, Jason is told of all this by a friendly centaur, and is told that the kingdom is rightfully his. So Jason travels to his kingdom to confront Pelias, on the way he helps and old woman cross a stream, who tells him that he will be aided for his kindness, before disappearing.
Jason arrives and is captured by Pelias, who sends him to be executed. But Jason says that he will bring back the legendary Golden Fleece, in return for him being restored to a prince. Pelias agrees and Jason gathers to together a motley crew of men to aid him in his quest. Once he has gathered his crew and set sail, he must travel to Table Top Island to find Phineas, who knows the location of the fleece. But once they have found him they face many dangers, such as an island of deadly man-hating women, and the mighty sea-God Poseidon.
