Episode Summary

After Shrewsbury's goldsmith is robbed and left for dead, the locals turn into a violent mob against the primary suspect--a young juggler who performed at the wedding of the goldsmith's son. The juggler seeks sanctuary from the mob at the abbey. Cadfael investigates things and finds a body floating in the Severn River
